Landgild Bouhafa

Landgild Bouhafa, 81, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in her residence with her family by her side.

She was a retired German teacher for Camp Hill High School, a former employee and volunteer with the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, Camp Hill, and following her retirement taught English in Tunisia. Mrs. Bouhafa enjoyed gathering with her friends for the Knitters’ Club and loved the time she shared with her family.

Mrs. Bouhafa was born in Arnsberg, Germany to the late Gustan and Gisela (Kathy) Bald and was the widow of Abed Bouhafa.

She is survived by her children, Karsten Schlesiger and wife Sharon of Enola, Rainer Schlesiger and wife Rita of Circle Pines, MN, Martin Schlesiger and wife Jaclyn of York Haven and Britta Sparks and husband Mark of Owings, MD; a sister Ditgard Grigsby of Kansas City, KS; and four grandchildren, Bianca, Jessica, Ryan and Maggie.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Wayne Wheeler officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Bouhafa’s memory are respectfully requested to the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, 100 N. 19th St. Camp Hill, PA 17011.
