Leroy J. Glancey

LeRoy J. Glancey, 93, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Camp Hill.
A Marine Corps Veteran of WWII, he was a retired Claims Adjuster from US Social Security Administration, Harrisburg. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. His children and grandchildren were everything to him.
He was born January 8, 1921 in West Allis, WI to the late James and Pearl (Emard) Glancey. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel M. Glancey.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. (Abel) Glancey; four children, L. Patrick and Michael L. of New Cumberland, Robert L. Glancey of Las Vegas, NV and Jenny L. Emmel of Manchester; three siblings, Veronica Harvey and Robert Glancey of West Allis, WI and Sr. Ione Alphonso Glancey of Madison, WI; and five grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
