Luis Manuel Perez Ortiz

Luis Manuel Perez Ortiz, 52, of Harrisburg and formerly of Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 in UPMC Pinnacle Osteopathic Hospital, Lower Paxton Twp., PA.

Luis was a plumber’s apprentice by trade and loved to travel. He enjoyed seeing and experiencing all things new and unfamiliar. But more than anything, Luis loved his family – unconditionally. Luis touched many people's hearts and he will be truly missed by many.

Luis was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Myrtha Ortiz Perez of Harrisburg, PA and the late Manuel Perez.

He is survived by his life partner Michelle Herrick; children, Chantel Perez of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Katie Collison of Keystone Heights, FL and Jonathan Collison of Keystone Heights, FL; siblings, Jose, Rafi, Yvonne and Lourdes; grandchildren, Marley-Jane, Serenity-Sky and Phoenix; nieces, Becky and Betsy; and nephews, Milton, Jose, Alex and Pedro.
