Margaret A. Kinsinger

Margaret A. Kinsinger, 71, of Etters passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, at Harrisburg Hospital. The daughter of the late Hiram and Margaret (Esterline) Shoeman, Margo was born in Harrisburg on May 7, 1942. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hydie and Leonard Shoeman, and her “sister” Mary Shoeman. She was a 1960 graduate of Central Dauphin High School.

Margo is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gary A. Kinsinger; a son, Timothy S. McClurg, of Norfolk, VA; daughters Theresa (husband Cory Gaye) of New Cumberland, and Nora Bumgardner (husband Mark) of Enola; five grandchildren Mitchell, Hunter, Amber, Autumn, and Rory; sisters Nora Snyder, Rose Collins, and Tina Shoeman, all of Middletown; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws in the Middletown and Halifax areas.

Margo was active in Red Land Midget Cheerleading and the Fishing Creek Elementary PTO in the early 1980s. She was also employed with H&R Block in Etters throughout the 80s. Most recently, she worked the polls for Newberry Township, York County. Margo loved her grandchildren more than anything and her grandchildren adored her!

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 Church St., Halifax (Fisherville). Viewings will be from 6-8 pm Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland and one hour prior to services Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
