Marilyn A. Loy

Marilyn A. Loy, 79, of Enhaut, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in her residence.

She was a retired packing inspector with Borders Books, Fulling Mill Rd. She was a graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, Lebanon Valley College, Annville, and attended Columbia University, NY. Marilyn was a member of American Legion Post 998, Lawnton; enjoyed gardening; was an excellent musician who played the tuba; she was an avid baseball fan and loved cats, especially her dear Benny.

Marilyn was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Maurice and Josephine (Cowden) Loy, Sr. and was preceded in death by a brother Abbott M. Loy, Jr.

She is survived by her siblings, Joselyn L. Stahl of Lancaster, Brian A. Loy of Camp Hill, Susan A. Loy-Milletics of Middletown; and Marilyn’s companion Kenneth K. Townsend, Jr. of Enhaut.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
