Martin Leroy Culver, 72, of Etters, entered into the Lord’s presence Monday, December 29, 2014 with his wife, in his residence as a result of a house fire.
He was the President of Culver Tool & Die, Inc., Lewisberry and a U.S. Navy veteran. He formerly worked for Berg Electronics / DuPont as a supervisor of the Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program, advancing to Manager of the North Plant in Lewisberry. He was a 1960 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, attended Bible Baptist Church of York and was a member of the U.S.S. Salisbury Sound Association.
Martin was born in Harrisburg to the late Norman E. and Margaret G. (Reed) Culver.
He is survived by his children, Mark A. Culver and wife Cathie of New Cumberland and Rachel S. Leukus and husband Jeffery of Etters; and three grandsons, Jacob A. Leukus, Joshua A. Leukus and Luke M. Culver.
Marty was a loving and devoted father, husband, grandfather and loving friend to all he knew. He was an avid outdoorsman and motorcycle/BSA enthusiast.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 5, 2015 in Bible Baptist Church of York, 4190 North Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Sunday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
