Mary Alice Peacock

March 4, 1930 — July 29, 2020

Mary Alice Peacock, 90, of Fairview Twp., passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family meant everything to her. She worked for several years in Food Services at Fishing Creek Elementary School in the West Shore School District; was a former Brownie Troop leader; a former member of the Red Land Women’s Club; and was an elite member of the OP Group.

Mary Alice was born in Williamsport, PA to the late George P. and Sarah (Trumbull) Sennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings George, James, Edward, Helen, Faye & Anne.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 68 years, George T. Peacock, Jr.; her children, T. Michael Peacock (Karen), of Eugene, OR, Jeffrey L. Peacock (Kathy) of York Haven, Leslie G. Leach (Dick) of Lemoyne and Ann Marie Hubbard (Don) of Etters; a brother Harry R. Sennett of Williamsport; two granddaughters, Holly (Hubbard) Gibson (Josh) and Maggie Leigh Hubbard (Vaughn); six step grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In light of the current pandemic, there will be no services.
