Merle Allen Wolfe

Merle Allen Wolfe, 77, of Duncannon and formerly of Enola, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 in Holy Spirit Geisinger Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.

He was a Tradesman who in later years restored and crafted antique motorcycle parts and side cars; was a U.S. Army veteran; and attended Rosedale Church of the Nazarene, Middletown.

Merle loved his Lord Jesus, his family and his country. Working was his therapy. He enjoyed hunting (especially muzzle loader) and working on old Ford trucks and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

He was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, Jefferson County to the late William Earl and Evelyn (Johns) Wolfe.

Merle is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary (Atkinson) Wolfe; children, Jeffery A. Wolfe and wife Rebekah of Carlisle and Heather M. Lowe and husband Kevin of Gettysburg; brothers, Dale of Erie and Robert of Brookville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, September 10, 2018 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Funeral will be at 4 pm on Tuesday, September 11, at Table Life Church, 617 16th St. New Cumberland, and burial with military honors will be held at 1 pm on Thursday September 13, at the Knox Dale Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knox Dale, Pa.
