Michael S. Sral

Michael S. Sral, 72, of Bolivia, NC, and formerly of Swatara Township, passed away peacefully Friday June 5, 2020.

He was born in Altoona and later moved to Camp Hill. He was a 1966 graduate of Trinity High School, Camp Hill; a metallurgical lab technician at Chromalloy, (formerly TRW) for over 30 years. He was a proud Army Veteran and avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Sral; his parents, John A. and Mary Jean Klein Sral; and his wife, Sandi L. Frantz Sral.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Danette A. Bowser Sral; his daughters, Andrea J. Sral of West Chester and Stephanie P. Welak of Harrisburg; his grandson Kellan Welak; his brother, Walter J. Sral of Bolivia, NC; and his sisters, Jean M. Cardinal of Nazareth, Annette P. Cassell of Carlisle, and Claudia L. Cook of Carlisle; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 17 in North Carolina.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, July 23, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg with the Rev. Donald Bender as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6 – 8pm Wednesday, July 22, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge Street, New Cumberland.
