Mildred Louise Steele

Mildred Louise Steele, 97, of Etters died Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a sales associate for the former Dore Rand in the West Shore Plaza, Lemoyne. She enjoyed reading, a glass of wine, and traveling around the world.

She was born August 24, 1919 in Altoona to the late Charles L. and Maude M. (Springer) Geesey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Milton Steele, Sr.; son, Harry M. Steele, Jr.; sisters, Betty and Joanne; and brother, Fred.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Ulrich (Michael) of Etters; daughter-in-law, Annette Steele of Lewisberry; four grandchildren, Dana Shover, Todd Linsenbach, Harry M. Steel, III and Wendy Steele; seven great-grandchildren, Sloan, Chase, Cole, Chase, Dylan, Kyle, and Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held from 10am until funeral services at 11am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
