Patricia A. Barnhart

December 26, 1925 — May 7, 2020

Patricia A. Barnhart, 94, formerly of Lemoyne and The Woods at Cedar Run, Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle.

She was a retired secretary, first at Trinity High School, Camp Hill and then at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland where she was a parishioner and a member of the church’s Little Flower Club. Pat was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School (Bishop McDevitt); a former member of the New Cumberland Woman’s Club; enjoyed traveling and the beach, especially Cape May, NJ; and had an incredible sense of humor. But more than anything, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, was her greatest joy in life. She will be sorely missed by all.

Pat was born in Harrisburg to the late John and Katherine (Keane) Burns.

She was the widow of Elwood Barnhart, Jr. and is survived by her daughters, Christine M. Slike and husband Andy of Carlisle and Caroleanne B. Snitger and husband Dave of New Cumberland; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Due to the government restrictions associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

In lieu of flowers, Pat’s wishes were to have memorial contributions made in her memory to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070.
