Patricia D. Snyder

Patricia D. Snyder, 86, of Chambersburg and formerly of Fairview Twp., Etters, died Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Chambersburg Hospital.

She retired as the Secretary to the Director for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Public Welfare, was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, New Cumberland, and the D.A.V., West Shore Chapter #50, Camp Hill.

Born on December 8, 1930, in Union Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Froan (Bair) Dell. She was the widow of Daniel A. Snyder and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Dell and Frank Dell, two sisters, Margaret Miller and Barbara Frehn, a niece, Connie Long and a nephew, Larry Dell.

Surviving are a brother in law, William Snyder of Mt. Carmel; five nieces and four nephews; many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Pastor Alann Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
