Paul F. Del Santo, Sr.

Paul F. Del Santo, 88, of Pittston, formerly of New Cumberland passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes Barre, PA. He was born on October 11, 1930 in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Robert and Carmela (Idecola) Del Santo

Paul attended Catholic High and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Marines. He had a career in the old age profession of shoe repair, following in the footsteps of his uncles. His last employer was Dutrey’s Shoes, Carlisle. While living in New Cumberland, he was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Elizabeth (Reindel) Del Santo; son, Rev. Robert Del Santo O.S.F.S; and brothers, Charles and Robert.

Surviving is his daughter, Christina (Del Santo) McGarry; her husband, Ray of Pittston; and their children, Robert and Erin; and son, Paul F. Del Santo, Jr.; his wife Karren of Mechanicsburg; their children, Ashley Mader; her husband Dan; Bradley, Andrew, and Emily; along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing will be from 9 to 10:30am Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Committal will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
