Phyllis J. Shoop

Phyllis J. Shoop, 83, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Sunday, December 16, 2018, at her home.

She retired as an Administrative Assistant from the former Pennsylvania Blue Shield, Camp Hill; a member of the Capital City Polka Dancers Assn. and the York White Rose Polka Dancers Assn. and she had attended St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown. Born on April 9, 1935, in Newberry Twp., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Alvadee (Zinn) Blazer. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dixie Runk.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Lester B. Shoop; a daughter and her husband, Susan K. and David W. Shutt of Enola; three brothers, Charles Blazer and Ronald Blazer, both of Mechanicsburg, and Larry Blazer of York Haven; two sisters, Shirley Snyder of York Haven and Linda Aloise of Shermans Dale; a grandson and his wife, Jason R. and Julia Huerta Shutt of Garland, TX; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday from 2 – 4 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
