Pierrette C. "Fefe" Pierce

February 11, 1939 — November 26, 2022

Pierrette C. Pierce (affectionately known as Fefe), 83, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 in Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.


Pierrette was born in Nancy, France, the daughter of the late Andre and Helene (Joly) Husson. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. She was a socially active person who could speak with anyone about anything. Her and her husband Bill spent several decades in Germany when he was in the Army and as a civilian. She could speak French, English, and German fluently. Fefe loved birds and her dogs. She had a number of miniature or toy poodles over the years. After moving to Camp Hill, Fefe enjoyed getting to know her neighbors and serving at the local food bank.


In her final years, she received excellent care from the Memory Care Center at The Woods in Camp Hill, and at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. The family especially wants to thank all those at Sarah Todd who took such good care of this special lady.


Pierrette was the widow of William (Bill) Lee Pierce and is survived by her sister, Marylene Armstrong of New Cumberland; two nephews, Reginald Armstrong (Hsin-Yi) of Florence, SC and Willie Armstrong of Danbury, CT; several great nieces and great nephews, and many wonderful neighbors.


Graveside services and inurnment of ashes for both Fefe and her husband Bill will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, January 23, 2023 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Military Honors will be conducted for Bill, US Army Command Sergeant Major.


In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Fefe’s memory to either the Ecumenical Food Bank, 901 N 6th St b, Harrisburg, PA 17102 or to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA 17070.
