Rita M. (Habecker) Bash

Rita M. (Habecker) Bash, 74, of Fairview Twp., Camp Hill, PA, and also The Villages, FL, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Frey Village, Middletown, PA.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, PA, and its Bible Study group; Liberty Forge Golf Course and the Women’s League at the Armitage Golf Course and various Bridge clubs. Mostly, she enjoyed her family, friends, dancing, socializing, and preparing Sunday dinners. Born on November 3, 1942, in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of the late Paul K. and Aurelia “Irene” (Lazar) Habecker.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Ed Bash; a son and his wife, Scott E. and Cheryl Bash of Mechanicburg, PA; a daughter and her husband, Mary Beth and Rick Handyside of New Cumberland; a brother and his wife, Paul and Londa Habecker of Fishers, IN; two grandchildren, Kyle Smith and his wife, Amy, of St. Charles, MO, and Sarah Smith of New Cumberland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Samuel Dubois as Celebrant. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
Viewing will be held 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
