Robert C. Rothrock

Robert C. Rothrock Sr., 89 of New Cumberland, died Thursday, September 1, 2016, at his home.
He retired as a Systems Analyst at the former Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, Hampden Twp.; a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran; was a Past Commander and member of VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen Twp. and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Born on October 1, 1926 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late William A. and Catherine (Hoy) Rothrock. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Rothrock III.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Jacqueline D. Harder Rothrock; four sons, Robert C. Jr. (Marie) of Elizabethtown, Michael L. (Dawn) of Mechanicsburg, Keith C. of Carlisle, Gary L. of New Cumberland; a daughter, Kim E. Hocker (Mark) of Camp Hill; a brother, James Rothrock of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Chad, Christopher, Justin, Daniel, and Alan; four great grandchildren, Dakota, Alexus, Ryleigh, and Elli; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Michael L. Seifried officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
