Robert J. Myers

Robert J. Myers, 50, of Etters, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 in UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg.

He was an IT Specialist with the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Human Services, Harrisburg and a Gulf War Army veteran. Bob enjoyed bicycling and hiking; was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan; enjoyed riding his Yamaha; and found great pleasure in his canine companions, Jack, Lucy & Sam.

Bob was born in Harrisburg; he is survived by his loving wife Kelly L. (Price) Myers; his father John Myers and stepmother Lois both of Harrisburg, his brother John Myers, Jr. of Dillsburg; and step-sisters, Bonnie Summy of New Cumberland, Laurie Felty of Palmyra and Margie May of Lancaster.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 5, 2019 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. There will be no viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Bob’s memory to the York County SPCA, 3159 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
