Ronald Lewis Beard

Ronald Lewis Beard, 70, of Fairview Twp., Lewisberry, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at home.

He was a retired professional truck driver for Old Dominion Freight Lines, Carlisle, a Vietnam War Era Navy Veteran and a member of Grace Baptist Church of Lewisberry. Ronald was born on March 28, 1950, in Harrisburg, the son of the late Charles L. and Anna E. (Etter) Beard. Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda J. (Drayer) Beard, and his sister, Shirley A. (Beard) Leiter.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Julianne E. (Jensen) Beard, and his daughter and son-in-law, Donna L. and Todd A. Leiss of Middletown.

Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Highspire Cemetery.
Memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church of Lewisberry on Friday, October 9 at 11 am with a visitation beginning at 10 am.
