Ronald W. Turner

Ronald W. Turner of Fairview Twp. passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was 69 years old.
Ronald was born in Brockton, MA, on May 31st, 1944. He was the son of the late Walter A. and Evelyn (West) Turner. Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Robert E. Turner.
He worked in sales and management in the in the automotive industry and previously owned and operated High Land Motor Sales, Lemoyne. He recently retired after eleven years of part time service from AAA of Central PA as a currier.
Ron was an active member and an Elder of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, Camp Hill. He loved gardening, painting, buffets and a good cigar.
Ron was the loving husband of Mary Jo (McDonald) Turner with whom he shared forty years of marriage. In addition to his wife, he is survived by and was the loving father of four children, Mark R. Turner of Etters, Lisa S. Stiely and husband, Clair, of Lewisberry, Patrick A. Turner of New Cumberland, and Molly K. Turner and her partner, Christine, of Harrisburg. Ron also is survived by five granddaughters, Erin L. Kling, Meghan A. Turner, Emily K. Turner, Paige C. Stiely and Madelyn “Maddie” M. Turner; a brother, Richard W. Turner and wife, Judith, and sister-in-law, Lucy M. Turner, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to Ron’s memorial service at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 16th, at Eberly’s Mill Church of God, where the Rev. James Moss Jr. will officiate. A visitation will held from 1 PM until the time of services.
