Rose Marie Reynolds

Rose Marie Reynolds, 86, of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, ran into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Claremont Nursing Home in Carlisle, PA, after suffering a stroke earlier this year.

She was a homemaker, but worked previously as a secretary for Dauphin Consolidated Water Company in Harrisburg, PA, where she met her husband of 57 years and love of her life, William Reynolds, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Rose was born in Harrisburg, PA to Earl and Alta Mae (Rautzahn) Schue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, seven sisters, and four brothers.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Sharon Sunday (Daniel) of Flower Mound, Texas, Brenda Kauffman (Daryl) of Harrisburg, PA, Melinda Reynolds of York, PA, and Jennifer Wooten (Lotsie) of York, PA, and her sons, Bryan Reynolds Sr. (Anita) of Camp Hill, PA, and William Reynolds Jr. (Emily) of New Cumberland, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Neil, William III, Brandon, Cody, Sarah Marie, Amanda, Emily, Sophia Rose, Abigail, Ava, Mia, and Kyle, and 13 great-grandchildren, Teya, Maverick, Kannon, Faith, Starr, Kadyn, Ella, William IV, Lillian, Walter, Anna, Nolan, and James, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Rose enjoyed baking, eating Wendy's Frostys, driving through the countryside to Adams County where she spent summers as a child, and birthdays at Caledonia State Park with her family. Most of all, she enjoyed telling people that she knew and loved Jesus and wanted them to know Him, too. She was a good friend to have on a bad day and never left without offering a big smile to warm your heart.

Public viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at New Cumberland Alliance Church, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM followed immediately by the graveside service. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Memorial contributions made be made to New Cumberland Alliance Church, where Rose was a member, at 148 Spanglers Mill Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
