Sharon Rose Book

Sharon Rose Book, 79, of Lewisberry died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at UPMC Hospital, Harrisburg.

She was a retired Nurse from the Harrisburg State Hospital. She attended Eberly’s Mill Church of God. She loved Hawaii where she went to nursing school, her family, and especially her grandchildren.

She was born June 30, 1941 in Newton, KS to the late Marvin D. and Rosa Lee (Warhurst) Moss. She was the widow of Ronald Lee Book and also preceded in death by her brother Marvin.

She is survived by her children, Rodney L. Book (Tammy) of Mechanicsburg, Timothy D. Book of Lewisberry, Jennifer A. Fox (Robert) of Etters, Heather J. Short (Jamie) of Lewisberry; brother Darwin L. Moss of AL; Uncle, Jack Warhurst of KS; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation following current mitigation efforts will be from 5:30 to 7:30 Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held at 10am Monday at the funeral home but will be streamed on the funeral home’s website under Sharon’s obituary. Interment will follow in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
