Shirley R. Hearn, 83, of The Woods at Cedar Run, Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She retired as a Reading Aide in the West Shore School District; was a member St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland; New Cumberland Junior Civic Club; New Cumberland Olde Towne Assn.; Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library; and was a fifty year member of a very special New Cumberland Ladies card club.
Born on October 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Philip Harry and Rebecca (Manning) Folk. She was the widow of Cloyd L. Hearn.
Surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Barbara R. and John M. McNulty of Camp Hill, Nancy G. and Stanley W. Millard of Allentown, and Kathy J. and Roy A. Hanson of Camp Hill; a brother and sister in law, Robert and Udine Folk of Mechanicsburg; six grandchildren, Aaron D. Piscioneri (Sarah), Jordan D. Piscioneri, Elizabeth A. Piscioneri, Rebecca M. Miller (Evan), Alex S. Millard, Emma J. Hanson; a great grandson, Atticus J. Piscioneri.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11 AM in her church with Pastor Elaine M. Dent officiating. Burial in Rolling Green Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the church.
