Tristen Andrew Funk

Tristen Andrew Funk, 4 years old, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center Children’s Hospital Derry Twp. surrounded by his loving family.

Tristen was a beautiful, fun loving boy who was always happy and brought smiles to all he encountered. He enjoyed music and loved to dance. Tristen was a flirt who loved holding hands and his favorite cartoon was “Puppy Dog Pals”.

Tristen is survived by his parents, Andrew Thomas Funk and Christen Victoria Wells of New Cumberland; his brother Reily Sather; maternal grandparents, Barbara Jane (Sheaffer) Sadler of Lebanon and Timothy Clark Wells of New Cumberland; paternal grandparents, Rhonda (Reese) Funk of Lemoyne and Robert Funk of Harrisburg; paternal great grandfather Lewis Reese; maternal great grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service Sunday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Tristen’s memory to either Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA, Inc., 745 West Governor Road Hershey, PA 17033-2304 or to Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, 600 University Drive Hershey, PA 17033.
