Vennie Jason Welch

Vennie Jason Welch, 39, of New Cumberland, and formerly of St. George, UT, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a facility maintenance manager for Chewy, Lewisberry; an Army veteran of the Gulf War, where he served three tours. He’s enjoyed traveling the country with his wife and kids over the last few years and trying to find the perfect location to settle down.

Surviving are his wife of 11 of years, Brande D. Welch; daughter and sons, Taylor J. Hanson of St. George, UT, Shadow C. Hansen of Findlay, OH, Vennie W. Welch of New Cumberland, Chase L. Tarvin of Raeford, NC and Brian J. Welch of New Cumberland; a grandson, Raphael Orellana; and a brother, Brian Logan of Yuma, AZ.

He was proceeded in death by his father Vennie G. Welch; and granddaughter Ava Rose Orellana.

His family will be holding a celebration of life, February 10th 2020 at 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the VFW Post 7415, 109 3rd St., New Cumberland, PA 17070.
