Virgina D. Spaar

Virginia D. Spaar, 93, of Greenfield Senior Living at Grasonview, Harrisburg, formerly of New Cumberland died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

She was a retired Front Desk Clerk from the former Penn Harris Hotel, Camp Hill.

She was born May 5, 1926 in Lemoyne to the late James and Grace J. (Peffer) Del Duca. She was the widow of David L. Spaar and Louis D. Forrest. She was also preceded in death by a son, James E. Bell; daughter, Nancy L. Ritter, son-in-law, David K. Wert; brother, Delmar “Whitey” Del Duca; and two sisters, Edna Baer and Marie “Peg” Sellers.

She is survived by two daughters, Terry E. Wert of Mechanicsburg and Susan E. Schlupp (Kirk) of Etters; a daughter-in-law Sherre Bell of Chambersburg; son-in-law, Tony Ritter of Florida; five grandsons, a granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11am Friday at Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
