Alice S. Goodall

Alice S. Goodall, 60, Mechanicsburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

She was a partner with her husband, Bob, of Goodall Pools and Spa Inc.  She was a driving force, responsible for much of the culture and development of the business to what it is today. Empathetic, kind, always supportive, genuinely interested in each and every employee and their family, she demonstrated concern and positive encouragement every day no matter the circumstances. Alice was well known and recognized for her participation and service with national pool and spa associations. Prior to this, she was a retirement planning professional with both Fleet Bank and M&T Bank.

Alice loved most of all being on the water and boating with her husband. She was a huge Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan. Very artistic and creative, she had an ear for music and an eye for beauty.

Alice was born in Rochester, NY, and graduated from Irondequoit High School. She was the daughter of Martin L. Scott and the late Jean (Handley) Scott.  In addition to her mother, Alice was preceded in death by her brother, David J. Scott.

She is survived by her husband of more than 26 years, Robert L. Goodall, Jr.; stepchildren, Robert L. Goodall, III (Kristy) of Etters and Kristin B. Goodall (Jesse Duncan) of New Cumberland; siblings, Charles M. Scott (Pam) of Rochester, NY, Marianne Scott (Erik Benz) of Rochester, NY and Sarah J. Scott (Francis Kasko) of Swan Valley, ID, and four grandchildren, Asher and Remi Duncan, Ella Mahoney and Aubrey Goodall.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time Wednesday in the funeral home. A luncheon reception will follow at Theo’s restaurant, 3315 Hartzdale Drive Camp Hill, PA between 12:30 and 2:30 pm.
