Allen Joseph Frank

Allen “AJ” Joseph Frank, 88, of York died Friday, November 21, 2025 at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York.

A 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, he was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War era. He was a retired Corporal from Pennsylvania State Capitol Police. Allen was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland and later, Holy Infant Parish, York Haven. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and served as an usher. He enjoyed model railroading, antiquing, Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, and Penn State Sports. He cherished spending time with his family.

He was born July 15, 1937 in Hollidaysburg to the late Ralph A. and Mary E. (Carn) Frank. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Frances (Thomas) Frank; and siblings, Elizabeth Reilly, Marjorie Stiffler, Ralph Frank, Thomas Frank, Eleanor Zimmerman, and Carl Frank.

He is survived by his son, Craig A. Frank of Etters; daughter, Kimberly E. Reilly of York; brother, John A. Frank (Jenny) of Hollidaysburg; grandchildren, Derek Frank, Selena Davis, Devon Frank, Shea Reilly, and Alonna Reilly; great-grandchildren, Riley Davis, Connor Frank, and Julian Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 Tuesday, December 2nd at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Committal services with military honors will follow the Mass at 1pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
