Andrew J. Kocur, Jr.

Andrew J. Kocur Jr., 87, of Mechanicsburg, died Friday, February 5, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Hampden Twp.

He retired as a Logistics Manager for the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Hampden Twp.; A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran; a member of Shiremanstown United Methodist Church; Carlisle Elks Lodge #578; American Legion Post 26, Dillsburg; Hershey Italian Lodge.

Born on July 3, 1933, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Andrew J. Sr. and Anna (Pastermak) Kocur. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Zalora) Kocur.

Surviving is his wife, Joanne P. (Wisman) Kocur; a son and his wife, David B. Kocur and Sheila A. Whitbread of Harrisburg; three daughters, Leigh Ann Kocur of Brooklyn, NY, Cathy E. Shuff and her husband Jason of Dillsburg, and Lisa A. Kishbaugh and her husband Drew of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Leigh and Jessica Conrad, Zachary and Alexander Kishbaugh.

Memorial services will be held at a later date once the pandemic restrictions have been lifted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiremanstown United Methodist Church, 125 E. Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA 17011.
