Anthony Philip Myers, 55, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Surviving Tony is his wife of 17 years, Audrey Myers; his daughter, Makaila; stepson, Nikolaus Moose; his parents, Sharon and Harry Miller; a brother, Michael Myers (Robin); one nephew, Corey Myers (Abbie); three nieces, Lauren Rodia (Mark), Olivia Miller and Victoria Miller; in-laws, Gregg and Irene Miller; a brother-in-law, Gregory Miller (Dina); sister-in-law, Julie Myers; and several aunts and uncles.
Tony, a 1988 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps (platoon 1085B, Parris Island, SC). After bootcamp, Tony was stationed at Camp Pendelton, California, until he was Honorably Discharged.
He then began his career in custom car audio and electronics at RT Grimm on Trindle Road before spending nearly 20 years with Best Buy in Harrisburg. Along the way, he became a certified master technician, freelanced for clients across the region, and became the go-to expert when you needed your ride pimped out.
A meticulous craftsman and natural salesman, Tony had a reputation for doing things the right way—and training others to do the same. He loved the challenge and thrill of finding creative solutions for complex projects. From building custom boxes to reading any and all articles he could get his hands on, which ranged anywhere from new medical information to the newest electronics, Tony never stopped learning.
A competitive softball player, he was known as “Bones” on the diamond, where he held down first base, hit cleanup, and did anything to boost up those around him and make them laugh. Tony could talk for hours about the Phillies, and he never missed a game.
Above all, Tony was a devoted husband and loving father. From the moment his daughter came into his life, she had his heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his loving and loyal Yorkies—Sadie Mae, Pickles and Paisley—who rarely left his side, especially when he needed them most.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Friday September 26th, 2025, at American Legion Post 143 in New Cumberland, where he was a proud member.
Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Tony’s name to: Blood Cancer United, Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, or PA Wounded Warriors.
