Barry Lee Schrade

Barry Lee Schrade, 83, of Shiremanstown died Friday, June 12, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill.

He was a graduate of Bermudian Springs High School where he played football. He also enjoyed softball in his younger days. A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a truck driver for the former Mason Dixon and retired from US Express out of Shippensburg. Barry liked all sports and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed music, especially Classic Country and the Oldies.

He was born November 12, 1942 in Gettysburg to the late George and Vivian (Davis) Schrade. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Smith and brother, Lonnie Schrade.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Schrade; children, Tawnya Michelle Holtzclaw (Gary) of Rome, GA, Terry Lee Schrade of Lewisberry, Peggy Nelson of Cincinnati, OH and Bobby Nelson of Shiremanstown, Cindy Richwine (Sonny) of Gardners, and Duane Schrade (Jodi) of Mount Holly Springs; brother, Bobby Schrade (Barb) of Carlisle; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp.
