Betty M. Miller, 91, of Frey Village, Middletown, formerly of Dauphin was carried by angels to heaven to be with Jesus on June 6, 2021.

Betty was born June 16, 1929 in Hampden Twp. to the late George S. and Zelda R. (Ickes) Zakis. She was preceded in death by her son Charles S. Miller, Jr. and brother, Michael S. Zakis, Sr.

She was a graduate of Lower Paxton High School. She formerly worked at State Auto Insurance Company and the former Keystone Laundry. She attended Middletown First Church of God and was a member of Stone Glen Church of God, Dauphin.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved reading, crocheting, and any kind of needlework. She was also a member of Susquehanna Iris Society having raised over four hundred varieties with her husband in their back yard.

Surviving is her husband of seventy-one years, Charles S. Miller, Sr. and daughter, Cheryl S. Stroud (Gary) of Harrisburg.

Visitation will be from 10am until memorial services at 11am Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Middletown First Church of God.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either church or Frey Village Benevolent Fund, 1020 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057.
