Bonnie L. Rose

Bonnie L. (Harsomchuck) Rose, 74, of New Cumberland, PA passed away on February 3, 2026 after complications from surgery at UPMC West Shore Hospital. She was born in February 1951.

After graduating from Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1972, Bonnie spent a few years working as a traveling nurse before joining the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a state employee. Bonnie worked primarily within the Long-Term Care discipline and rose to the position of Deputy Secretary for OLTL.

She retired in 2015 and spent her retirement travelling with her husband Geoffrey, tending to her garden and plants, spending time with family and close friends, and fretting over Christmas gifts for family and friends. Bonnie had a fondness for time at the beach, particularly St. Kitts and Puerto Rico, and shopping.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Geoffrey Clarke; siblings, John Harsomchuck and his wife Teresa, Susan Wilkes and her husband Kim, Guy Harsomchuck and his wife Robin, Julie Lockwood and her husband Jan, and David Harsomchuck and his wife Sonya; her aunt, Rose Gathagan and her husband Ron; nephews, Bobby Calhoun III and his wife Blanca and Cody Harsomchuck; nieces, Cary Ann Leeper and her husband Daniel, Michelle Kovatch and her husband Jonathan, Crystal Wilkes and Emily Harsomchuck; four great nephews and one great niece.

She was predeceased by her father, Wasil Harsomchuck and her mother Ethel Harsomchuck; and nephew, Rick Harsomchuck.

A public viewing will be held from 10-11:30am on Tuesday, February 10th in the chapel of Parthemore Funeral Home in New Cumberland, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am.
