July 20, 1959 — January 31, 2021

Brian E. Kohler, 61, of Hampden Twp., died Sunday, January 31, 2021, at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore, with his family by his side.

He retired as Senior Manager, Computer Operations for AES/PHEAA, Harrisburg. Brian was an avid golfer, loved the outdoors and hunting at his cabin. Over the years, he was involved in Silver Spring Baseball, Scout Troop 180 and the PHEAA Golf League. He was also a member at the Enola Sportsmen’s Assn., Mechanicsburg Club, and Williamstown American Legion Post 239. Above all, Brian cherished spending time with his extensive family and friends. He was a giving and caring person who touched the lives of many: to know him was to love him.

Born on Monday, July 20, 1959, in York, he was the son of Sylvia M. (Whitsel) Kohler of Dallastown and the late Neil E. Kohler.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 39 of years, Barbara C. (Bond) Kohler; sons and a daughter, Neil A. Kohler and wife, Caitlin Ferry of Carlisle, Samantha C. Kohler of Berkeley, CA, and Mitchell S. Kohler of Duncannon; brothers and a sister, Charles R. Kohler of Dover, Jeffrey T. Kohler of York, and Deborah A. Ketterman of Dover; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rochelle and Bill Bond of Williamstown; and a large extended family.
