Carman B. "Abbie" Gross

Carman B. “Abbie” Gross, age 86, died at York Hospital on May 28; he was a lifetime resident of Goldsboro.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lynetta; a daughter and her husband, Carmalyn and Charles Crandall; a brother, Winton; and many nieces and nephews.

He retired from Sutliff Chevrolet after 45+ years in the parts department; he was also a race car fan – especially at the old Silver Springs Race Track.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
