Carmella (Brussese) Pearson

Carmella (Brussese) Pearson, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, East Pennsboro Twp.

She was a retired Administrative Assistant with the Commonwealth of PA Comptroller’s Office, Harrisburg.  Carmella was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill and loved music, cooking and animals.  But what made her happiest was spending time with her grandchildren.

Carmella was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Marie (Mano) Brussese.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Stephen A. Pearson.

She is survived by her husband of more than 62 years, Stephen A. Pearson, III; a sister Helen Timothy of Mechanicsburg; and her three grandchildren, Veronica, Anthony and Dominick.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd. Camp Hill, PA with the Rev. Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant.  Viewing will be one hour prior to Mass in the church.  Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
