Carol L. Manning

Carol L. Manning, 81, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Hummelstown, died Friday, August 13, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network as well as Stakpole Publishing. She was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, the Hallmark Channel, traveling, and especially playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of Seven Sorrows BVM Catholic Church, Middletown and the Red Hat Society.

She was born January 1, 1940 in Bronx, NY to the late Jerome and Marie (Vitabile) Carlucci. She was also preceded in death by her brother Robert Carlucci.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John A. Manning; son, John C. Manning (Katie) of Camp Hill; daughter, Danielle Greshock (Joel) of Philadelphia; sister, Joan Bancroft (Brent) of Pompton Plains, NJ; and grandchildren, Amelia, James, and Anna Manning and Mia Greshock. She is also survived by her caregiver, Diane Havens of Carlisle.

Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30am Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Reverend Jayasaleen Amalanathan at 11am Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
