Clara E. Weigard

Clara E. Weigard, 99, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg died Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Village. 

A homemaker and mother, she was a longtime member of Shiremanstown United Methodist Church.

She was born November 10, 1923 in Crossroads to the late John and Florence (Keesey) Hershner.  She was the widow of Frederick Leroy Weigard and preceded in death by her brother, Wilson Hershner and sister, Vivian Manifold.

She is survived by her son, William F. Weigard of Etters; daughter, Patricia A. McClain (Douglas) of Middletown; five grandchildren, Laura Lawrence, (Jeffrey), Sarah Meuanthongchanh (Say), Seth Weigard (Melissa), Neil McClain,and Kyle McClain (Amy); and ten great-grandchildren, Charles, Lucas, Lily, Sadie, Ava, Jordan, Henry, Kylie, Joey, and Hazel; and four nieces and nephews, Diane Slothower, Ron Hershner, Stephen Manifold, and Sharon Minor.

Graveside services will be held at 2:45 Thursday, September 14th at Tri-County Memorial Gardens, 740 Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry.
