Connie J. Boyle, 79, formerly of Etters, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with family by her side. She was born on August 27, 1946, in Harrisburg, to the late Norman J. and Virginia L. (Basye) Miller.
Connie had a big heart and truly loved being around people, especially her children and their families. She spent her career as an executive secretary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where she formed many lasting friendships. In retirement, Connie and her husband embraced nature and all its beauty, spending their time hiking, kayaking, and traveling whenever possible. Eventually, they sold their home and traveled the country by RV, chasing warmer weather in the winter and returning each summer to be near family. A true social butterfly, Connie loved to sing and dance, and her joyful presence was felt wherever she went. Though her genuine and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband and best friend, John.
Surviving Connie is her son, John C. Boyle IV (partner, Sandy Reisch); daughter, Stephanie Ferrante (husband, Justin); three grandchildren, Jasmine, Samantha, and Sydney; four great-grandchildren, Ella, Salem, Aleister, and Olive (Miss Moo); a brother, Brad Miller (wife, Myra); and sister, Patty Ridley (husband, George). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, John C. Boyle III (d. 2025); a daughter, Mary Grace Neff; and her stepfather, Harry Drake.
A public visitation will be held from 11AM until a Celebration of Life begins at 12PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Connie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a local animal rescue of your choice.
