Connie L. Jendrzejczak

October 22, 1948 — March 6, 2026

Mechanicsburg, PA

Connie L. Jendrzejczak, 77, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late James and Florence (Bruaw) Seeger, born on October 22, 1948, in Mechanicsburg.

Connie was energetic and a positive presence wherever she went. She genuinely enjoyed people, making her career in retail a natural fit for her bubbly personality. Over the years, she worked as a sales associate at Montgomery Ward in Carlisle and in customer service at Hecht’s Department Store in the Capital City Mall, Camp Hill. She later spent several years as a cashier at Giant before concluding her working years at Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School.

A devoted parishioner of the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick in Harrisburg, Connie volunteered her time in numerous capacities. She had a loving heart and a beautiful smile, but don’t let that fool you—she was a spirited woman who fiercely loved and protected her family, especially her grandchildren.

No outfit was complete without her favorite jewelry, and although she loved all animals, she had a special fondness for her cats and birds. Connie could happily listen to Elvis all day or enjoy reruns of I Love Lucy, and her favorite car has always been the VW Beetle. She could be gentle and sentimental, appreciating the fairy-tale endings of Hallmark Channel movies, while also being able to deliver a look or a comment that could get someone to shape up quickly!

Her unique personality, motherly compassion, and the warmth she brought to all those around her will be deeply missed.

Surviving Connie are her children, Pauline S. Seeger-Caraker of Mechanicsburg, Michael L. Seeger (Nikki) of Gardners, and Joe S. Collett Jr. (Wendy) of New Cumberland; eight grandchildren; two brothers, George E. Seeger (Donna) of Carlisle, and Robert T. Seeger (Linda) of Dover; and a sister, Sandra Morrow of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Jendrzejczak; sisters, Norma Buchanan and Linda Trayer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A public viewing will take place from 9AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10AM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Connie's name to either Speranza Animal Rescue or the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg.
