Craig Evan Kilbourne

September 13, 1932 — July 18, 2025

Newberry Twp.

Craig Evan Kilbourne, 92, of Etters, Newberry Twp. died Friday, July 18, 2025 at his home.

A Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he was the retired owner/operator of Kilbourne's TV Sales and Service in Brunnerville and Leola, worked for Essex Corporation on government defense contracts, and the Eaton Corporation on the B-1 bomber program. He bought, sold, and restored antiques in CA and then out of his business, Barn Antiques in Newberrytown. He also restored Cadillac LaSalles and sold them internationally.

Craig enjoyed coaching midget football. One memorable season, his C team (known as "Kilbourne's Raiders") went undefeated and unscored upon. Craig also enjoyed traveling throughout the world, reading, garage sales, antique auctions, plays, poker, bowling, and tennis. He was a avid fan of the Phillies and the Eagles. An early Renaissance man, he could do anything.

He was honest to a fault. He supported Veteran's organizations, and charities for children and animals.

He was born September 13, 1932 to the late Harry and Sara (Grinder) Kilbourne. He was also preceded in death by his brother Gary. He is survived by his wife, Silvia M. Herman; children, Claire Louise Kilbourne (Keith Beighley), Sara Kay Trostle (Gary), Doreen Denlinger (Keith), Gary Kilbourne (Sue), and Diann Trotman (Harvey); mother-in-law, Silvia Herman; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Craig’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any veteran, child, or animal charity of the donor’s choice.
