Cynthia Orner Rospendowski

Cynthia Orner Rospendowski of Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg passed away on March 18th, 2026, at Messiah Lifeways.

She was a retired accountant for the Commonwealth of PA Office of the Budget; a graduate of New Cumberland High School; attended Harrisburg Area Community College; and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg. Cynthia was born on May 17th, 1938, in Harrisburg to the late Fred and Minnie (Saul) Orner.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter F. Rospendowski and her brother Fred M. Orner.

She is survived by her son, Walter Dean Rospendowski of Knoxville, TN; a brother Donald J. Orner of Gordonville, PA; two grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, starting at 1pm at her church, 130 Nittany Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with the Reverend Alex Martini officiating. All are welcome to join the family at the luncheon which will be held at the church following the service. Committal services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
