David A. Taylor

David A. Taylor, SFC, US Army Retired, 65, of New Cumberland died Monday, November 2, 2020 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was a veteran of Vietnam, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. After retiring from the Army, he worked for Fairview Twp. Waste Water Treatment Plant and retired from Defense Logistics Agency, New Cumberland in 2017. A loving husband and father, he enjoyed traveling to the islands with his wife. He was an alumni and avid fan of Penn State University.

He was born February 5, 1955 in Sunbury. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Taylor.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia M. (Stroehecker) Taylor of Sunbury; wife, Lori J. (Rowan) Taylor; daughter, Samantha L. Navarro of Sumner, WA; son, Brian D. Taylor of Clarksville, TN; Brothers, Charles of Sunbury and Tim of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Debbie Heim of Sunbury; and six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.
