David H. Colestock, 62, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on the morning of May 8, 2026. Born on April 3, 1964, in Camp Hill, David was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend who had an unwavering dedication to those he loved.
David was a remarkable man with many passions, hobbies and interests. None of these more so than his love for the sport of wrestling. David wrestled for Camp Hill High School and then, collegiately, at Millersville University before transitioning to coaching as an adult. His passion for the sport was never more evident than when he coached wrestling and the time he spent with his athletes.
David served in the United States Navy from 1988 to 1992, during which he began his career in the Construction industry, working his way to becoming a Project Manager at the time of his passing. David earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike, due to his work-ethic, intelligence, and his commitment to his teams. He worked tirelessly and took immense pride in every project he managed.
In addition to his personal endeavors, David was an avid reader and remarkable chef. Food was his love language and connected him to his Italian heritage, which he took great pride in. Nothing brought him more joy than cooking for those he loved and sharing family recipes. This passion grew into mixology and crafting inventive cocktails during his later years. Those who had the pleasure of knowing David will fondly remember he always had a book and loved nothing more than having a conversation over a good glass of wine or special cocktail.
David is survived by his wife, Julie (Conrad) Colestock, whom he met in 1987 while they both worked at the YMCA, and married on April 23, 1994. They had recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.
In addition to his wife, David leaves behind his children, Justina Marie Colestock, Luca Librandi Colestock; his mother, Nina (Librandi) Lenker; siblings, Anthony (Melissa) Colestock, Gina (Jared) Parson, Lara (Peter Leonard) Colestock; in laws, Jay (Mary) Conrad and Jody (Don Seidenstricker) Conrad; dogs, Waffle and Meadow; as well as his many numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by the family’s beloved dogs, Sambuca, Jazzy, Billie, Gunnar, Chewy and Diesel.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st, from 5-7PM at Parthemore Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the GoFundMe created to support David’s family as they navigate the new life ahead.
