Delma Hilda Corbin, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away surrounded by her family on July 4, 2026. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she was born on January 21, 1940, in Carrolltown, PA, to the late Henry and Marie (Muri) Born. Delma cherished her upbringing on the farms there, a place that held a special part of her heart throughout her life.
Delma dedicated many years to serving the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Insurance, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impact on her colleagues. A proud member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, she was deeply involved in her faith community, cleaning the church, volunteering with the Council of Catholic Women, and sharing her love of God with all around her.
She enjoyed bowling and was a former member of the ABC West "Cats" bowling league. An avid reader, card player, and gardener, Delma found pleasure and fulfillment in her hobbies. She fondly remembered the times spent with her siblings and eagerly anticipated family reunions, which were a testament to her deep love for her family and the bonds they shared.
Family was at the core of Delma's life. She is survived by her loving sons, Alan (Mary) Corbin and Thomas A. (Melissa) Corbin; her daughter, Catherine Corbin; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma Corbin, Ashley Corbin, and Thomas D. Corbin. Delma also leaves behind her dear brother, George (Sharon) Born and sister-in-law, Rita Born, as well as many nieces and nephews; and beloved friends, Paul and Jean Martin, all whom adored her. Her family grew to be her greatest joy, and she embraced everyone as her own, reveling in the role of a doting grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her treasured husband, Thomas L. Corbin; siblings, Frances (Ed) Martin, Audreaun (Tom) McGinley, Bernard (Lucy) Born, Frederick Born, Robert (Rhoda) Born, Dolores Smith, Eileen (Bill) Ehmann, Carol (Lewis) Cretin, Beatrice Yeager, and Herman (Mary Louise) Born; and very special in-laws, Bob and Betty Corbin.
A public viewing will be held on July 9, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home. A Mass will take place on July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, where all are welcome to honor her memory and the faith she cherished. Delma will be laid to rest at Rolling Green Cemetery following the Mass at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church in her memory, ensuring that her legacy of love and faith continues to flourish in the community she so treasured.
