Dennis John “Denny” Dolan, 79, of Lemoyne, PA died June 25, 2024 at his home.

Denny was born July 29, 1944 in Harrisburg to the late James Dolan, Jr. and Eleanor (O’Donnell) Dolan. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Dolan, III, MD.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (DeLisle) Dolan; daughters, Colleen Dolan (Glenn Parno) of Camp Hill and Aimee Voulgaris (Michael) of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Eva and Regan Parno; sister, Julia Maguire (John) of Sterling, VA; brother, Michael Dolan (Nancy) of Richmond, VA.

Denny served as a United States Marine Corps flight officer during the Vietnam war, flying 167 combat missions and earning eight air medals. He retired as Vice President of Sales from Penn Detroit Diesel, Philadelphia, after owning a truck dealership in Wilmington, DE for many years. Denny is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt Highschool, Harrisburg, and LaSalle University, Philadelphia.

Denny taught sailing for years and participated in many ocean races. He also enjoyed skiing, racquet sports, fishing with his brother, and his daily gym workouts.

Some of his favorite memories were travels to Ireland, Japan and Greece with his family. Denny also cherished following his granddaughters’ accomplishments.

Committal services with full military honors will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, July 2nd at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
