Donna Louise Nissel

Donna Louise Nissel, 82, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1943, in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles D. and H. Louise (Stetler) Clements. 

Donna's journey through life was characterized by her dedication to family, friends, and community. As an Administrative Assistant for Fairview Township, she brought warmth and efficiency to her work. Her commitment extended beyond her professional life into her passions - she loved cooking, canning, and creating beautiful needlework that brought smiles to many. An active member of the Camelot Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, Donna held various offices and dedicated herself to supporting her peers.Her love for entertainment found expression in her fondness for Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and the Hollywood Casino, where each trip was a new adventure filled with laughter and the thrill of uncertainty. 

Donna is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Drew) Watro; son, David (Laurie) Nissel; sister, Diane Way; and her cherished granddaughters, Hilary (Keith Buehlman) Fulmer, Bailey (Rishabh Rathod) Watro, Emma (Ryan) Padezanin, and Lyla Nissel. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Chase and Makayla. Further, she leaves behind a niece, Amanda Manta and a great-nephew, Charlie as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members who will carry her memory in their hearts. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her beloved husband, David Nissel and her brother, James Clements.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Parthemore Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, allowing all who loved her to share their stories and memories. Donna will be laid to rest in Rolling Green Cemetery following the funeral service.In honoring her spirit, we invite all friends and family to join us in celebrating Donna's remarkable life-one defined by love, resilience, and unwavering strength. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Disabled Veterans of America in her name.
