Dorothy L. “Dottie” Bricker, 93, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg. She was born on June 5, 1932, in Frackville, to the late Enoch and Mary (Shemanski) Conapitski.

Dorothy graduated from J.W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah (Class of 1949) and went on to build a successful career in the telecommunications industry at Bell Telephone. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was more than just a hardworking employee; she was a beloved figure in her community, known for her kindness and commitment to helping others. For over 25 years, she volunteered at Holy Spirit Hospital, giving her time and energy to those in need.

A proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mechanicsburg Legion Post 109 and the Lower Allen VFW Post 7530, Dorothy made many friends along the way, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Surviving Dottie are her nephews, Craig Milus (Denise) and Mark Unger (Carol); and a niece, Susan Unger (Carlos). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles “Chuck” Bricker; her siblings, Jean Milus (George) and Florence Unger (Leonard); and a niece, Sandra “Sandy” Milus (Stephen Brown).

In honoring Dorothy's wishes, a private graveside service will take place at the family's convenience in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. 

Dorothy will be remembered not just for the years she lived, but for the lives she touched and the love she spread. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
