Emmalynn C. Conner

Emmalynn C. Conner, 94 of Brookdale Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg, previously of Camp Hill died Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Brookdale.

A graduate of the former New Cumberland High School, prior to retirement she worked for the former Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania and as a tour guide for the New York City Bus Tours.  An artist, painter, writer, and ballroom dancer, she created many paintings and wrote a children’s book titled: “Big Tweed.”  She was previously a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill and Metropolitan Dance Club.

She was born June 27, 1929 in Lancaster to the late Arthur Russel and Minnie Viola (Goodhart) Cunningham.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Delores Fay Cunningham.

She is survived by a close friend, Dorothy Eileen Boyanowski of Mechanicsburg. 

Visitation will be from 10am until funeral services Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.  Burial will follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Emmalynn’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
