Esther B. Arnold

Esther B. Arnold, 92, formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Camp Hill Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.

She was a retired Management Assistant for Training and Development with Defense Distribution Region East, Fairview Twp.  Esther was past president of the Camp Hill Woman’s Club and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church parish, Mechanicsburg.  She enjoyed gardening and ceramics.

Esther was born in Heckscherville, Schuylkill County, PA, the daughter of the late Carl and Florence (Dormer) Horn and was the widow of Richard F. Arnold.

She is survived by her son Robert S. Kross and wife Mary of Etters; a step daughter Georgann L. Trexler and husband Ed of AL; three grandchildren, Melanie Russell, Erica Hill and Josh Trexler; and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Esther’s memory to her church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 East Simpson St. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
